The modern allotment movement was founded by Daniel Gottlob Moritz Schreber in Germany.
1860's
Sweden's first allotment "Citadellet" in
Landskrona.

Second allotment area in Malmö.
1904
Allotment activities were established in Stockholm by Anna Lindhagen (1870-1941).
1905
Allotment "Söderbrunn" at Norra Djurgården, Stockholm.

The first union was formed.

10 000 allotments in 26 cities in Sweden.

International Garden Association was established. Sweden became a member.
